KUPI Content Policy

Effective October 2026. Questions: info@kupiapp.com

KUPI is built around real people out at real places. This policy covers the comments, photos, profiles and verification material that users add to the app.

What is not allowed

Photos and verification

Photos are reviewed by the KUPI team before they appear, and stay visible for 24 hours after approval. A photo posted as being at a venue should be taken at that venue. Verification selfies are seen only by KUPI staff for review. Photos you send in a Squad chat are not reviewed first, so only the people in that Squad see them, and they can be reported.

Squads

A Squad is for meeting people at a public event. You are shown by a nickname. The person who started it can remove anyone. In a Blind Date you see usernames only once everyone is at the venue. Be respectful, meet in public, and leave if you feel unsafe. You can report or block anyone from inside the chat. Reported messages are kept for up to 30 days so the team can review them.

Reporting and blocking

Every comment, photo, listing, profile and Squad message can be reported from the app, and you can block any person so you no longer see their content. Reports are reviewed by the KUPI team. The person you report is not told it was you.

What happens when something breaks the rules

If you think a decision was a mistake, email info@kupiapp.com and we will look again.

Hosts and advertisers

A venue is checked by the KUPI team before it can add events or buy placements. Promoted events are always labelled "Promoted". Hosts must describe their event honestly, and a host badge on a comment means the account is a venue or event host.
