KUPI Host and Venue Agreement

Version 2026-11-01. Effective November 2026. Questions: info@kupiapp.com

This agreement is between KUPI and the venue, organiser or owner that applies to be a host. You accept it by ticking the box when you apply on the KUPI web portal. It sits alongside the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Content Policy, which also apply to you.

Who you are

You confirm that you are authorised to act for the venue, event or property you list, and that what you tell KUPI about it is true, including the venue name and the phone number we call to check it. The KUPI team phones that number before approving you. Until you are approved you cannot pay or add events or listings. We can refuse or end an application without giving a reason.

Events and listings

Your events and listings must be honest about the place, the day, the time, the price, the dress code and what is on offer. Use photos you have the right to use. Keep your details up to date, and tell us if an event is cancelled. An event that repeats every week counts as one event. Your plan includes 2 events and 1 BnB a month, and more can be arranged with the KUPI team. Events you add go live at once, and KUPI can take down anything that breaks the rules.

Safety and the law

You are responsible for your venue, your event, your staff and your guests. You keep guests safe, you hold the licences and permits the law requires, including for alcohol, music and crowd size, and you do not serve alcohol to anyone under 18. KUPI is not the organiser of your event and is not responsible for what happens at it.

Event Golden Badge and promoted placements

An approved host can buy the Event Golden Badge ($20 for 30 days) and promoted placements ($20 for a week). A promoted placement runs on the dates bought and is always labelled Promoted. KUPI does not guarantee attendance, sales, rankings or any other result from a badge, a listing or a placement. If a payment was made by mistake, or a placement cannot run, contact us and we will look at it.

Payments

Hosts pay on the KUPI web portal, not in the mobile app. Do not send money to anyone who says they work for KUPI outside the portal. Hosts do not earn KUPS.

Conduct and content

You must not post anything that breaks the Content Policy, mislead members about an event, ask members to pay you outside the rules, or misuse the contact details or messages of members. A host badge on a comment means the account is a venue or event host, and hosts must behave accordingly.

Removal and suspension

KUPI may remove an event, a listing or a placement, or suspend or close a host account, if you break this agreement, the Terms of Use or the law, or if we receive serious complaints. We will tell you why where we can.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your events and listings. If a claim is made against KUPI because of your event, venue or listing, you agree to help KUPI deal with it. To the extent the law allows, KUPI is not liable for loss that comes from your event, your venue or the way you use KUPI.

Law enforcement and legal requests

KUPI works with the police and other authorities. We give information about a host account, an event or a listing only when we receive a valid court order or another lawful request, when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect someone from serious harm.

Changes and contact

We may update this agreement. When a change matters, we will ask you to accept the new version. This agreement is governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Email info@kupiapp.com with any question.
